you know i believe

Had a day off work today (lucky me!) so I got to do a spot of shopping… and for some reason I was in a serious black and white mood! Found some cool pieces that inspired me to do a post on my favourite combo; black, white and denim. It’s a super easy look to pull off and has a nice edginess that I love. Hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

cut offs

This is definitely one of my favourite classic looks – biker jacket, crop top, denim cut offs and an exaggerated necklace. Throw this on with some sheer stockings and creepers and you can go anywhere. This amazing jacket was from Topshop a while ago, check out their similar one here. I brought the shorts here on Ebay. The crop top is from Cotton On, and oh my word it is perf!

As you can tell I really like leather… lol. This skirt is from Cotton On and it’s actually really soft and comfortable which I like! The sheer button-up is from New Look and the acid-wash vest is from Mr Price.

I cannot get over this corset from Asos and how wonderful it is… I literally wanna wear it all the time! I love tops with extremely low-cut arm holes like this one from Mr Price. They look great with a little lace bralet underneath too. This skater skirt is also from Cotton On. It’s quite a bit shorter than it looks so I’m keen to wear it with some stockings and chunky boots for cooler days.

So which look do you like best? Any other cool things you like to do with denim, white and black?

its like wishing for rain

Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t posted in so long… it was a hectic week and I was away and all that… I have however been regularly posting on Instagram so if you haven’t already found me there, its @danicafaye.

So today I’m just gonna show you guys some pics of two outfits I wore this weekend while I was away… Totally love them! Some really great pieces… Let me know what you think!

Saturday’s Outfit:

outfit 1

That beautiful studded corset is from Asos. I’m absolutely in love with it! The back is also really cool – its got cutouts. And don’t you just love the colour of the sheer top? ❀

Sunday’s Outfit:

outfit 2

I was flying home so I had to wear something really comfortable – and this dungaree dress from Factorie is just that! Dungarees and crop tops are one of my obsessions!

Also wanted to share some of the cute bracelets I found while I was away… I love these so much I’m even sleeping in them! πŸ˜‰

More to come this week!

will you be there

Had a very busy and exciting day today… Wanted my outfit to summarize what my personal style is, so I went for a very vintage- and romace-inspired look with an edge. This beautiful maxi skirt with double slits is from Zara. Brought it last year but they do have a similar one here.

This corset is one of the lovely things that arrived the other day from Asos, and oh my word it is AMAZING! So so so beautiful and feminine while still being a little bit rock ‘n roll. You can buy it here.

Red lips with a monochrome look is one of my favorite things to do… I love a pop of colour.

I’ve been overwhelmed at the positive responses to my outfits on Instagram, thank you guys!! If you wanna follow me there its @danicafaye.

Much love!

I wasn’t planning on posting today because I was wearing a piece that I have already shown, but then while taking some insties I realized that I was in love with my outfit so it didn’t matter :P.

On days when I am in a rush to get ready (like today because my alarm overslept ;)) I like to throw on an all black outfit. It instantly looks sleek and stylish, even if you haven’t put in any effort at all. I love the mix of textures between the chiffon and the leather of my creepers, as well as the mix of the slim silhouette of the leggings with the almost bulky shape of the kimono. I made this kimono myself but you can find some gorgeous ones on Asos Marketplace.

My mom just got back from a trip to Italy with some shopping bags for me! So excited to share these beautiful new pieces with you guys soon!

Ahh there is honestly nothing better than when new clothes arrive in the mail… It doesn’t matter how long they took to get to you or how much you had to fork out for import duties, opening the package is always THE most awesome feeling!

These amazing mom jeans from Asos are literally my new best friend. Its been one day and I am already in love! They’re high-waisted, acid-washed and vintage-inspired, what more could you want? I brought them a few sizes bigger so they have a grungy fit. Get them here! NOW!
